Buying Property in Tanzania: The Prequel

Baba has been away from Tanzania a long time.  He's ready to come home.  Before he can do that, though, he somewhere to live...
Property in Tanzania is not cheep.  The weather is nice, and lots of foreigners want to live there.  As a result, properties can sell for more than they would in the States.  Fortune and divine blessing, however, appears to be smiling on us, as Baba has found a place in Arusha that is for sale.
This is the point where I begin to describe the long, convoluted, strange, and involved tale of how we worked to buy a property in Tanzania, spread out over multiple parts.  This, however, is bongo land, so if I told you all that while it was still happening, it might not be good for us.  So you'll just have to wait until after we buy the property to find out how it all went down.  This will probably be one of the posts I'll put up after returning to the States.  Be sure to come back and check it out.
Trust me, this is a story you don't want to miss (and I don't even know the ending yet)...
