Days 25: Terevaeli is Sick!

I just found out that my Mjomba Terevaeli was hospitalized for the second time after having a convulsion.
Mjomba Terevaeli suffers from high blood pressure.  For the past few years he's been taking medication to help regulate it.  Then Mjomba Mike died, and Terevaeli was put in charge of organizing Everything.  Then we came and stayed with him for about two weeks.  Between the stress of the funeral, and his great excitement at seeing me and Baba again, Terevaeli forgot to take his medicine.  He also didn't get much sleep.  The stage was set for a perfect storm.  Then came the final straw.  Mjomba Terevaeli went with us to Ngongare Park, then to dinner at Zara's, and then insisted on driving all the way home to Moshi at midnight (Thursday, January 28th).
Needless to say, by the time Terevaeli got home he was very sick, and had to be taken to the hospital.  The doctors were very mad with him, and yelled at Terevaeli for not taking his medicine.  He apologized and promised to take it in the future.  The doctors wanted to keep him there, but Terevaeli didn't see the point, since all he was doing was lying in bed, and he could do that just as well at home.  So he went home.  The following Sunday, Terevaeli collapsed and had a seizure while at .  Back to the hospital. Once again Terevaeli refused to stay, but went home right away to rest.
Terevaeli's resting now, and seems to be doing much better. If you don't here about him again, its because there's nothing further to report.  As they say, no news is good news.  Terevaeli has a seminar scheduled this weekend and all next week at the coast, so the change in scenery and relaxing a few days in a hotel should help out as well...
